SPACE NK Fragrance Advent Calendar 2023 Full Review

Fragrance Advent Calendar have been became probably more popular than the regular beauty calendars as some of them give you the chance to try niche brands different options for a more affordable price. Space NK is releasing their first one in few days for a price of £150 and its meant to have a value of over £500, The calendar has 16 products from which one is a hair mist, 2 candles and the rest fragrances of different sizes.

  1. Diptyque Eau Capitale Hair Mist 30 ml (£55): Eau Capitale is a Floral Chypre fragrance with accords of pink pepper, rose, patchouli and bergamot. The rose is highly prominent but is like a old rose smell, nice but quite particular, The eau de parfum version of this doesn’t last long and I doubt this would last either, I would have preferred to see a Diptyque perfume instead of a hair mist in this calendar to be honest.
  2. Rose Inc Limited Edition Candle 190 g (£34): Featuring fresh rose contrasted by the spiciness of black pepper and the warmth of musk and wood notes, the aroma is sensual and serene. The sustainably sourced wax is 100% soy for a clean burn.
  3. Floral Street Sweet Almond Blossom Candle 75 g (£14): This mini candle is actually froma fragrance the smells really nice very almondy and sweet, although I was hoping for a luxe brand candle.
  4. Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille EDP 50ml (£70): A skin scent, cotton candy vanilla fragrance, easy to wear that last around 6 hours, it has notes of coconut, sandalwood, almond, brown sugar, heliotrope, orchid and tangerine. so is very into the sweet side.
  5. Escentric Molecules Escentric 02 Refill 30 ml (£45): An Amber Floral Scent with accords of Ambroxan, Iso E Super, Iris and Jasmine.
  6. Jo Loves Pomelo 15ml (£17.25): This fragrance actually reminds me a lot of the drugstore perfumes or like the pomelo the body shop would sell, it actually smells quite cheap.
  7. Acqua Di Parma Colonia C.L.U.B 12ml (£14): This is more a masculine scent like Armani Code, a fresh herbal woody scent.
  8. Ellis Brooklyn Myth 10ml (£32): A nice powdery floral scent with musk, very easy to wear for everyday use.
  9. Boy Smells Rose Load 10ml (£16):  A prominent rose fragrance.
  10. Juliette Has A Gun Sun For Lust 10ml (£12.50): Created with top notes of bergamot, coconut and freesia, this floral, fruity fragrance features heart notes of gardenia, monoi, orange blossom and ylang ylang. Its bottom notes include Ambroxan, musks and vanilla to round out the fragrance profile, sadly this fragrance is not long lasting.
  11. e11even Fragrance Oil 10ml (£40): Developed with top notes of floral geranium and rose, this stunning scent also has hints of fresh citrus to make it easy to wear during the day or night. After a few hours of drying, it warms to reveal a touch of soothing amber and patchouli.
  12. Tory Burch Electric Sky 10ml (£15): Features top notes of blue sage and violet alongside heart notes of cactus flower and responsibly sourced lavender. The fragrance is completed by base notes of Palo Santo accord and vetiver. Tory Burch is dedicated to empowering women and female entrepreneurs.
  13. Floral Street Sweet Almond Blossom Eau de Parfum 10ml (£28): Same as the candle a lovely sweet almond fragrance.
  14. Malin+Goetz Dark Rum Oil 9ml (£29): This perfume oil combines the mild sweetness of rum with rich, warm undertones. It has top notes of bergamot and plum alongside middle notes of rum and leather. Its base notes include the scents of amber, milk, and patchouli.
  15. Byredo Bal D’Afrique 8ml (£16): The base notes in the BYREDO Bal D’Afrique Eau de Parfum are intense, combining Moroccan cedarwood, musk and black amber, and the top notes are refreshing, with hints of lemon, bergamot and African marigold.
  16. Maison Margiela Lazy Sunday Morning 7ml (£8): Lazy Sunday Morning is a floral fragrance, smooth like a morning in bed, with delicate notes of creamy White Musk and Lily of the Valley.

So far the final number is £445.75 which is a good value for £150 that is what the calendar cost, like any calendar I always like to actually just calculate apart which are the product I like or want to try and skip the ones i don’t to see if it’s convenient, like in my case I removed the fragrances I already have, or don’t like neither use as the hair mist and the candles, I got £204.50 so basically is a pass for me but if you actually like this selection

This Calendar is only available in for UK and won’t be available for shipping internationally. You can get it HERE
